Gastric Emptying Times
Delayed gastric emptying is when the remaining activity within the stomach meets one of the following criteria-
1 hour- more than 90% remaining in the stomach.
2 hours- more than 60% remaining.
3 hours- more than 30% remaining.
4 hours (best criteria for evaluation)- more than 10% remaining.
1 hour- more than 90% remaining in the stomach.
2 hours- more than 60% remaining.
3 hours- more than 30% remaining.
4 hours (best criteria for evaluation)- more than 10% remaining.
